CHOICE LECTURES

Imagine sitting in school one day and your teacher tells you to pay attention he has an announcement he proceeds to tell you that you won't be doing traditional school but you will be having "choice lectures". How would you react? 

 Well my first reaction was that this was going to be stupid ad we wouldn't accomplish anything and after approximately 5 days after we started...I feel the same way. If it was more organized and set up so that at most times students were in classes or had something (academic) to do then we would actually achieve something. Some people might not agree but this is my unbiased opinion.

I know my teachers have a good vision of what they want it to be like but I think this idea should be implicated at another time because some students don't have the mindset for this yet. And again this is only my opinion.

                                                                  

                                         INGENUITY FEST 

    Ingenuity Fest  ( to me at least ) is about bridging the gap between art and technology. The Ingenuity Fest is all about showing the artistic side that comes out of technology. I would like to know more a about what the atmosphere will be like at the Ingenuity Fest.The Ingenuity Fest helps our city by bringing ideas to expand the mind, to birth innovators.

The work that we do as Design Lab Early College will be apart of Ingenuity Fest because we are thinkers and have to be able to think, what would be the best way to design these seats, which makes us innovators. The most exciting part of this journey to me is probably going to the building because I'm more hands on. I'm feeling a little worried that we might not get them done in time. Some obstacles I see us having are not being able to work as a group and everybody's ideas being apart of the project. Obstacles I myself may have is not coming to school on time. Maybe i could go to bed a little earlier. But i really do think this is going to be  great.
